In Spring 2025, Zone3 Media covered two contrasting yet equally powerful conferences: the WiMENA Conference, focused on amplifying women’s voices across the Middle East and North Africa, and AI, Animals & Digital Minds, an academic event exploring intelligence, ethics, and consciousness.
Both presented unique challenges. One was rooted in advocacy and networking; the other in high-concept thinking and debate. Our role consisted of crafting event films that not only documented, but distilled, capturing not just what happened, but why it mattered too.

Client Goals
WiMENA and the AI, Animals & Digital Minds team approached us with similar asks:
Create a cinematic highlights video that captured the event’s essence
Produce short, engaging social edits to share with attendees and stakeholders
Capture the atmosphere — not just speakers, but reactions, energy, and flow
Our process included:
WiMENA Conference
We shot across a full conference day, covering keynotes, networking and side conversations — keeping the camera fluid and responsive to the human energy in the room. Interview setups were quick and intimate, allowing for candid responses from attendees and organisers.
AI, Animals and Digital Minds
For this academically rigorous event, our approach was more observational and understated, reflecting the tone of the subject matter. We focused on facial expressions, applause and subtle audience dynamics, giving the final edit a reflective, thought-led pace.
Execution
For both events, our crews worked with lightweight, mobile setups to adapt quickly to changing environments and schedules. From keynote sessions and breakout panels to informal networking and candid moments, we filmed continuously across the day to build a full visual narrative.
Impact
Both films were delivered within days of the events, providing organisers with fresh, professional content ready for social sharing and archival use. Designed for flexibility, the assets are already being positioned for future outreach and post event communications.
With each project, our goal remains the same — to create work that lives beyond the day itself, visual records that continue to speak long after the event is over.
“Zone3 were a wonderful team to work with. They understood what we stood for, and made that visible to the world.” — WiMENA Conference Organiser
