The Overview

 Richard Hochfeld is one of the main suppliers of premium fresh produce to the UK’s supermarkets. Since its establishment in the 1930s, the business has maintained a family-oriented structure with quality and attention to detail at its core. Partnering with Scion Fruits, an innovative fruit breeding venture, Richard Hochfeld aims to bring new and exciting breeds of customers’ favourite fruit to consumers nationwide.

Interviews

Objective

 The team here at Zone3 Media aimed to document and present the atmosphere and system of Richard Hochfeld. We knew that a company as established and experienced as this one deserved to tell their story in their own words and so opted for a series of interviews from both the lead breeder/agronomist Luis Carlos and managing director Chris Guindi, creating a professional corporate aesthetic.

Approach

We knew from the start that this project should be approached from a highly professional standpoint, to keep in line with expected industry standards of a company as established as RH. In distinction from some of our more cinematic projects, we maintained a sleek, corporate aesthetic to effectively show the organisation and quality of the structure in place at RH.

Our process included:

Pre-Production Planning

We began with pre-production meetings with key Richard Hochfeld staff—including the CEO and safety supervisor—to shape the creative vision and ensure compliance with on-site health and safety protocols.

Corporate visuals

We captured professional interviews and documentary-style B-roll, using a cooler palette for factory interiors and warmer tones for farm exteriors to highlight both technical and human aspects of the business.

Interview direction

Interviews with Luis Carlos and Chris Guindi were directed to feel authentic and informed, reflecting the brand’s values and expertise.

Post-production and Delivery
We edited the video with a clean, corporate style. Final versions were optimised for multiple platforms, including social media clips and a longer cut for presentations and stakeholder use.

Execution

The final video successfully captured Richard Hochfeld’s dedication to quality, innovation, and long-standing relationships within the produce industry. It not only showcases their operational excellence but also communicates their forward-thinking approach through their partnership with Scion Fruits. The feedback from the client was overwhelmingly positive, praising the clarity, tone, and production value of the piece.
